First day in School?

Today was the first day of orientation but it was more like a stroll around school. With the international students briefing tomorrow, all there was for us to do was collect our student cards, and signing up for various tours, e.g. school tour, city tour and shopping tour. Collection of our student cards turned out to be a non-event as they were closed for the day and we had to go back tomorrow. Now I'm starting to get worried about my modules as i realised i don't have a clue what to do. Just found out there is a freshers induction for geography and environmental science students which clashes with the city tour. Crap! I don't even know if i need to attend that. At least i have emailed my prof-in-charge. May he settle my doubts as soon as possible.

More excitingly, there will be a sports fair tomorrow and we signed up for various try outs over the next few days like badminton, akido (Alan wanted to learn some self-defence) and FUTSAL! Futsal should be indoors so no disadvantage over the cold. WOOHOO~ And i bought 2 posters to decorate my room, as well as getting a low-maintenance cactus plant! Now i'm not the only living thing in the room and both posters actually have UNCOUNTABLY LOT of people in them. May the slugs not be attracted to my room cause of the cactus. I have managed to spread the paranoia to Alan and Tong Wei. Now, we have decided to buy the slug killing/prevention shit and salt to scatter around the lawn, kitchen doorway and related areas.

Finally managed to msn webcam chat with Kiwi too. I hope she is doing alright and happy 61st month anniversary to you!
