Yesterday, Alan and Tong Wei had to attend briefings for their respective faculties, so I was the only one left who attended the shopping tour at 11:00 A.M. The weather was good, the sun was up shining as it should be, providing some warmth against the bouts of cold wind. The tour was kind of lame, just a walk around the main shopping areas in the city with comments like "There is a Zara here." and "You can buy this and that here." Apart from the lousy commentary, it was pretty good in letting you what to buy where.
After the tour, I went around myself to buy some long-sleeved shirt to help take over the duties of my overused Uniqlo one. From now on, I shall only buy what I need and not what I want. Money matters. More should be spent on travelling! While walking around, I tried to visit places and sites we visited the previous day during the city tour to take some pictures as the weather was good. Surprise, surprise! There was this guy who wanted to jump off some building and a huge area was sealed off by the police. I'm not going to delve into the debate on taking your own life but if you want to commit suicide, this is definitely the way to go man. Create a big hoohaa! Affect people you don't even know, or have seen before. Go with a bang!
Another highlight of yesterday was our first "3 dish, 1 soup" session which I consider a partial success. Some dishes just turned out a little salty but that's all. The meal was definitely enjoyable and worth it.
As for today, I went to school to get my form for my module choices signed and handed in. I only got 3 modules, with lectures on Monday (2:00 to 4:00 P.M.), Thursday (10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.) and Friday (9:00 to 11:00 A.M.) How's that man? I only got a 6-hour week as I have no tutorials! HAHA. Shiok sia, too bad my lessons on thursday and friday is very early. I should not complain though because Alan and Tong Wei both have 6 modules and 5-day weeks, if I'm not wrong. The sad thing is I'll probably have to map 5 geog modules which would mean that I have overloaded on geog modules. Now, I need to do extra mods when I'm back.
